Speed Icons: Audi S1 Quattro

This artwork by Joel Clark celebrates the record ascent of the world famous Pikes Peak Hill Climb course in July 1987. Piloting his 600bhp Audi S1 Quattro Walter Rohrl becomes the first car and driver to ascend the course in under 11 minutes, and simultaneously smashing the previous record by over 22 seconds! This artwork was initially produced to launch the limited edition t-shirt company Iconiccloth.
