Mika Hakkinen's helmet design was as simple as his driving, straightforward, and FAST. Everything came together for Mika in 1998 with the combination of Adrian Newey's latest McLaren MP4/13, and Ilmor Mercedes power. A hard fought challenge from perennial title contender, Michael Schumacher wasn't enough to best Mika in the final race at Suzuka, Japan. This Bell helmet is what Mika used during his 1998 Formula 1 World Championship season for McLaren - Mercedes-Benz.
